  1. Hey, not sure if you are still around, but the internal storage of my MiniX Plus failed. Thus, it basically makes it an unusable device. Any suggestions? I opened it up and seems like it is soldered onto the board, so it’s not just an easy replacement… Perhaps if I had a way to tell Android to ignore it and only use the external SD…?

    • Absolutely still around. But health problems, so my concentration is off for some months already. I have prepared some posts, but not finished yet. Will try in the next days.

Already reformatted the device with firmware? Otherwise use it as Linux box, that runs allways of the SD card.

      • Thanks much for the tips! I hate the thought of my MiniX Plus turning into a doorstop (and not a very good one due to its size)! Am looking forward to trying some things out, but we’ll have to see how much “free time” my work allows. Best wishes for a healthy recovery and looking forward to more posts!

      • Thanks much for the tips… Actually loading new firmware did the trick! Unfortunately since I don’t know what caused the problem the first time around, the same problem can happen again, but at least the device at the moment is usable and not just a doorstop!

      • Jim, new firmware will hard-reset the whole device. So it is likely the memory works again. What I had was that the device was resetting itself after every reboot. Reflashing the firmware solved that too. So firmware problems can be fixed 🙂
